In 1963, Marie Therese and Guy MONTEUX, became arboriculturists  in Sauzet, Drôme.

As they met with climate difficulty, land division and an ever increasing production cost, they decided to move to the south in 1982.

The MONTEUX started their activity with only 40 hectares of peaches and nectarines on the soil of LA CRAU.

Two million years ago, the sea that swamped the low valley of the Rhône, let the Durance spread its delta between Eyguières and the Camargue to give birth to a vast cobbly dry plain , called The  CRAU.

In fact with its cobbly  light soil, its exceptional ratio of sunlight, the “ mistral that blows 200 days a year, the Crau offers optimum conditions for stone fruit farming.

In 1985, the MONTEUX settled in  Mas Saint Paul, in the small village of MOURIES located in the very heart of the valley of “Les BAUX.

Thanks to their knowhow, they have ensured the settlement of their 3 children as well as 2 of their

fruit farming managers.

In 1997, an organization of producer (OP Mas Saint Paul) was created, comprising more than .

250 hectares of plantations spreading over different production sites.

Annual production of OP. amounts to more than 6500 tons of fruit ( apricots, peaches and nectarines)
